Self-mastery is between us and our destiny. No one can master themselves without the Light of God. Opinions of men are not our light, nor is science or philosophy. The God who said, “Let there be light, and there was light” (Genesis 1:3) is the sovereign light that will guide us to personal development beyond what psychology can accomplish.
